"India maintains good relations with Sri Lanka; therefore, the Central Government does not wish to intervene in the Katchatheevu issue. Tamil Nadu fishermen are arrested by the Sri Lankan Navy because they cross the maritime boundary to fish," the Central Government's Attorney General, Venkataramani, stated in the Supreme Court.
