Two temporary workers died after inhaling toxic gas while cleaning a rainwater harvesting tank in Kodungaiyur, Chennai, casting a pall of gloom over the area. The tragic incident occurred while they were cleaning the 15-foot-deep tank. The Kodungaiyur police have recovered the bodies and are conducting an investigation.
