Russia plans ticket surcharge to bankroll struggling aircraft industry
From 2027, passengers would pay 500 roubles on domestic flights and 1,000 on international flights to fund the lease and operation of 258 Russian-built aircraft, as sactions over Moscow's all-out war in Ukraine continue to bite.
