Rosalind Ashford Has Died. She Wanted to Be a Stewardess but Became a Motown Star.
A founding member of Martha and the Vandellas, she was the crystalline soprano on 1960s hits like “Nowhere to Run” and “Jimmy Mack.” She has died at 83.
