The MRTS rail corridor between Beach (Chennai Beach) and St. Thomas Mount (Parangimalai) is set to see better days beginning in 2027. It has been announced that, following the state government taking charge of this rail line, improvements—including enhanced security and better lighting—will soon be implemented at the stations along the mrts route.
