Yesterday, High Court Judge N. Ramesh granted anticipatory bail to DMK's Sudha Deenadayalan. In his ruling, the judge observed that an ordinary citizen has the right to criticize the Chief Minister; at the same time, the government and the police have a duty to protect the rights of such citizens.
