<p><strong>কলকাতা:</strong> দক্ষিণবঙ্গের আকাশে আশঙ্কা বাড়াচ্ছে ঘূর্ণিঝড় ‘অর্ণব’-এর ভ্রুকুটি! বঙ্গোপসাগরে তৈরি হওয়া নিম্নচাপ যেভাবে শক্তি বাড়াচ্ছে তাতে ঘূর্ণিঝড়ে পরিণত হওয়া এখন শুধু সময়ের অপেক্ষা বলে মনে করছে আলিপুর আবহাওয়া দফতর। এর প্রভাবে মঙ্গলবার থেকে এ রাজ্যে বৃষ্টির সম্ভাবনা। বুধবার থেকে ভারী বৃষ্টি হতে পারে উপকূলবর্তী জেলাগুলিতে। ঘূর্ণিঝড়ের সম্ভাব্য অভিমুখ দক্ষিণ ওড়িশা ও উত্তর অন্ধ্রপ্রদেশ উপকূল। যার ফলে পশ্চিমবঙ্গের উপকূলবর্তী এলাকায় দমকা হাওয়ার সঙ্গে বৃষ্টির আশঙ্কা রয়েছে। বুধবার থেকে শুক্রবার পর্যন্ত রাজ্যের একাধিক জেলায় বাড়তে পারে দুর্যোগ।</p>
<p>ভারতের আবহাওয়া বিভাগ (আইএমডি) সোমবার (২৬ অক্টোবর) বেশ কয়েকটি রাজ্যের জন্য ভারী বৃষ্টিপাতের সতর্কতা জারি করেছে। দক্ষিণ ভারতের তামিলনাড়ু, অন্ধ্রপ্রদেশ, ওড়িশা এবং কেরলের জন্য এই সতর্কতা জারি করা হয়েছে। এদিকে, উত্তর ভারতে ইতিমধ্যেই হালকা শৈত্যপ্রবাহ শুরু হয়েছে। </p>
<p>আবহাওয়া দফতরের পূর্বাভাস অনুযায়ী, আজ বঙ্গোপসাগরে ঘনীভূত নিম্নচাপটি গভীর নিম্নচাপে পরিণত হয়ে বাঁক নিতে পারে পশ্চিম থেকে উত্তর-পশ্চিম দিকে । আগামীকাল সকালে ঘূর্ণিঝড় এবং মঙ্গলবার সকালে অতি প্রবল ঘূর্ণিঝড়ে পরিণত হওয়ার সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে। বুধবার সকালে অন্ধ্রপ্রদেশ উপকূলের কাছে পৌঁছে বাপটলা ও বিশাখাপত্তনমের মাঝে আছড়ে পড়তে পারে 'অর্ণব'। স্থলভাগে ঢোকার সময় ঘূর্ণিঝড়ের সর্বোচ্চ গতিবেগ ঘণ্টায় ১১৫ থেকে ১২৫ কিলোমিটার হতে পারে, যা বেড়ে পৌঁছতে পারে ঘণ্টায় ১৪০ কিলোমিটার পর্যন্ত।</p>

It is very likely to cross Andhra Pradesh & Yanam coasts between Bapatla and Visakhapatnam as a #very #severe #cyclonic #storm with the maximum sustained wind speed of 115-125 kmph gusting to 140 kmph by forenoon of 28th October, 2026.</p>

<p>কলকাতা সহ বাংলার বেশ কয়েকটি জেলায় আজ বিকেল থেকে ভারী বৃষ্টি ও প্রবল বাতাস বইবে বলে আশঙ্কা করা হচ্ছে। আবহাওয়া দফতর ভারী বৃষ্টিপাতের সতর্কতা জারি করেছে। ২৬ থেকে ২৯ অক্টোবর পর্যন্ত অর্ণব ঝড়ের প্রভাব অনুভূত হতে পারে। আবহাওয়া বিভাগ তামিলনাড়ু, কেরালা, পুদুচেরি, কর্ণাটক এবং অন্ধ্র প্রদেশে ভারী বৃষ্টির জন্য রেড অ্যালার্ট জারি করেছে, অন্যদিকে ছত্তিশগড়, তেলেঙ্গানা, ওড়িশা এবং পশ্চিমবঙ্গে অরেঞ্জ অ্যালার্ট জারি করা হয়েছে। </p>
