Christa Pike describes 'pain in my mind and in my soul' in first statement after failed execution
Pike survived two doses of pentobarbital during her attempted execution on 30 September. She was sentenced to death for torturing and killing her classmate Colleen Slemmer in 1995, when she was 18.
