Tamil Nadu Electricity Minister CTR Nirmal Kumar has been fiercely criticizing both the AIADMK and the DMK. Recently, he alleged that AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi Palaniswami was attempting to seize the party's assets. Incensed by this, the AIADMK has sent a defamation notice to C.T.R. Nirmal Kumar, demanding Rs.1 crore in damages.
